Payroll Coordinator (Part-Time) – Multinational Hospitality Company Location:  Mascot
Employment Type: Part-time (2–3 days per week)
Salary: $85k – $90k + Super

About the Role:
Our Client is a fast-paced, multinational hospitality company with HQ in Hong Kong and a small but high-performing Australian office. We’re seeking a proactive Payroll Coordinator to support our HR team in coordinating payroll for 200+ staff across Australia.

This role is part-time, focusing on coordinating payroll via our vendor. You’ll handle payroll enquiries via email and phone, maintain accurate records in Employment Hero and Workday, and ensure compliance with awards and agreements. There is also potential to get involved in global HRIS projects for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate with our payroll vendor to ensure timely and accurate payroll outcomes

  • Respond to payroll enquiries via email or phone and escalate as needed

  • Maintain payroll data and reporting in Employment Hero and Workday

  • Interpret awards and agreements to support accurate payroll processing

  • Assist with workers’ compensation claims and related reporting

  • Support HR operations and ad-hoc payroll projects as required

  • Potential to be involved in global HRIS implementation projects

Requirements:
  • 2+ years’ experience in payroll coordination or payroll support (essential)

  • Strong knowledge of payroll processes, awards, and agreements

  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

  • Highly organised, proactive, and able to work independently

  • Strong communication skills; second language skills are ideal

  • Experience in hospitality or retail sectors is a plus

  • Immediate availability preferred
