About the Company

Our client is a major workforce employer with a large and diverse employee population. They are seeking an experienced Payroll Systems Administrator to support the ongoing management, maintenance and optimisation of their payroll and workforce management systems. Working closely with Payroll, HR, Finance and operational stakeholders, you will act as the key systems resource, ensuring payroll data integrity, system functionality and reporting accuracy across the payroll function.

Working within a complex payroll environment, RosterOn will be your primary system, supporting payroll operations, workforce management and system enhancements. This is an excellent opportunity for a payroll systems specialist who enjoys working at the intersection of payroll operations, technology and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and maintain RosterOn and associated payroll and workforce management systems.
  • Manage system configurations, updates, user access and system maintenance.
  • Support payroll reporting, data analysis and system reconciliations.
  • Investigate and resolve payroll system issues, integration errors and data discrepancies.
  • Maintain payroll system controls and ensure data integrity across payroll systems.
  • Develop and maintain system documentation, procedures and user guides.
  • Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes, reporting, automation and system functionality.
  • Support payroll system upgrades, enhancements, testing and continuous improvement initiatives.

Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience in a Payroll Systems Administrator, Systems Administrator or Payroll Systems Specialist role.
  • Strong hands-on experience administering RosterOn is essential.
  • Experience working with payroll systems such as ADP or similar enterprise payroll platforms is highly regarded.
  • Strong understanding of payroll processes, workforce management systems and system integrations.
  • Advanced Excel and reporting capabilities.
  • Experience supporting payroll system upgrades, implementations or optimisation projects.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to support Payroll, HR and operational teams.
