We’re partnering with a leading national retailer to recruit a People Advisor to join their Shared Services team during a busy peak period. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience within a high-volume HR environment while supporting one of Australia’s most recognised brands.

About the Role

You’ll join a specialist team within the Shared Services function, providing support to team members across a range of HR-related enquiries. This role is focused on delivering a positive employee experience through the timely resolution of pay-impacting issues, system navigation support, benefits enquiries, and recruitment-related questions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to team member enquiries via web-based channels
  • Assist with pay-impacting issues and employee administration queries
  • Support team members with system navigation and troubleshooting
  • Provide information relating to employee benefits and recruitment processes
  • Make outbound calls when required to investigate or resolve enquiries
  • Maintain accurate records and update internal systems
  • Deliver a positive and professional team member experience at every interaction
  • Work collaboratively within a high-volume shared services environment

About You

  • Strong computer literacy with the ability to quickly learn new systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Positive, proactive, and solutions-focused approach
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Previous customer service, administration, HR, or shared services experience highly regarded
  • Willingness to learn and develop new skills, including phone-based support

Role Details

  • Temporary Contract (4-month)
  • Training: 4-week full-time onboarding (in office)
  • Location: Eight Mile Plains
  • Work model:
    • Minimum 2 days per week in office
  • Rostered Shifts: Monday – Friday between 6:30am – 5:30pm
  • Immediate Start!
  • $40 PH + Super
