MAYDAY Recruitment are searching for an outgoing, confident and organised Project Administrator to join one of Sydney's Leading Developers to be based out of their new exciting, long term development in the Paddington area.
 

This is a full-time, on-site role offering an exciting opportunity to work closely with our Project Team from start to finish of these outstanding residential development. You’ll play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the site office, while also providing vital support to the Project Directors & Managers.

Key Responsibilities

  • General office administration and support to the construction team.
  • Assist Project Managers and Site Supervisors with project planning, scheduling, and coordination.
  • Maintain subcontractor agreements, project documentation, and customer files.
  • Handle data entry, workflow management, and ensure all documentation is up to date.
  • Support the Project Manager/Site Supervisor with day-to-day project administration to ensure projects progress smoothly and on schedule.
  • Maintain and organise all project-related documents, including contracts, drawings, and correspondence.
  • Act as a main point of contact between site teams, supervisors, and subcontractors, providing regular progress updates.
  • Coordinate with trades and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Assist with estimating and cost control, including maintaining and updating labour and material price lists.
  • Read and interpret building plans to prepare accurate cost estimates and quotes for variations.


About You

  • Previous experience in an administrative based role within the Construction industry.
  • An understanding of the construction process and project coordination.
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and time-management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 
  • โ€‹โ€‹โ€‹โ€‹โ€‹โ€‹โ€‹ Experience using a construction EDMS (any experience on any system is desirable)
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence in liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
  • A proactive, problem-solving attitude and the ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively.
  • Full working rights in Australia.
