As a Property Claims Consultant, you will play a vital role in managing strata insurance claims end-to-end. You will guide customers through stressful and sometimes complex situations with empathy, professionalism, and proactive communication. - Manage a portfolio of strata insurance claims from lodgement through to settlement
- Conduct investigations and determine policy coverage
- Liaise with clients, brokers, assessors, trades, and internal teams
- Arrange inspections, repairs, and quotes
- Maintain detailed claim notes and provide regular updates to all stakeholders
- Review supporting documentation and validate claim details
- Navigate difficult conversations with empathy while maintaining professionalism
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, internal policies, and SLA requirements
- Previous property claims experience (residential or commercial)
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- High attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines
- Customer-centric mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
- Able to manage a varied workload and prioritise effectively
- Calm, compassionate, and confident when handling challenging conversations
