Mayday is partnering with a leading kitchen and interior solutions business to find an experienced Retail Showroom Manager to lead a high-performing retail team in Chatswood. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll drive sales performance, coach a team, and ensure an exceptional customer experience across the showroom.
In this role, you’ll:
- Lead and develop a retail showroom team, driving performance across leads, appointments, and sales conversions.
- Oversee showroom presentation, ensuring high merchandising standards are consistently maintained.
- Recruit, onboard, and train new team members to build a high-performing culture.
- Coach and mentor staff to deliver exceptional customer service with professionalism and integrity.
- Drive achievement of lead-to-appointment and conversion targets.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and resolve customer and operational issues effectively.
- Manage rostering, staffing levels, payroll timesheets, and operational planning.
- Support reporting, budgeting, and retail performance tracking.
We’re looking for someone who:
- 3-5 years’ experience in retail management or showroom leadership.
- Has a proven track record of achieving and exceeding retail targets.
- Confident leading, motivating, and developing a team.
- Is organised, resilient, and able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Holds a current driver’s licence and own reliable transport for occasional store travel.
- Is available to work Tuesday–Saturday, including one weekend day per week.
