The Company
A community-focused organisation in Melbourne’s south east is seeking a Risk, Insurance & Claims Officer to support their team during a period of leave. This is a fantastic short-term opportunity to step into a fast-paced, supportive environment and make an immediate impact.
The company operate a hybrid work model, 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.
About the Role
Working within the Risk & Claims function, you will play a key role in supporting day-to-day operations, including:
- Processing insurance and compensation claims
- Maintaining accurate records and supporting data management activities
- Assisting with customer enquiries via phone and written communication
- Providing administrative support to the Risk Management Coordinator
- Supporting the team across general risk and claims processes
About You
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to manage enquiries professionally
- High attention to detail and excellent administrative capability
- Solid experience using Microsoft Word and Excel
- Confidence working with customer request and records management systems
- Previous experience in risk, insurance, or claims
- Understanding of risk management principles
