About the Opportunity
Are you a growth-focused, hunter style Business Development Manager who thrives on creating new opportunities in untapped markets? Our client, a leading provider of cloud-based software solutions for the finance and accounting sectors, is seeking a dynamic professional to drive new business growth across the NSW region.
You’ll be instrumental in identifying net-new revenue opportunities, mapping markets, building executive relationships, and securing first wins—all while leveraging your expertise in SaaS solutions tailored for finance and accounting professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive new business opportunities for SaaS solutions in accounting, finance or tax functions across NSW.
- Prospect, engage, and build relationships with C-level decision-makers, identifying client needs and presenting tailored software solutions.
- Manage the full sales cycle, from lead qualification and proposal development to negotiation and closing new business.
- Partner closely with marketing and internal team to translate market insights into scalable go-to-market strategies.
- Ensure seamless transition of new accounts to client management teams, providing feedback to enhance customer experience and business offerings.
- Maintain accurate sales data, conduct competitive analysis, and identify emerging trends to uncover new business opportunities.
About You
- 5 – 8 year’s experience in SaaS business development, with a proven track record of exceeding targets.
- Strong experience selling software solutions into accounting, finance, or tax is mandatory.
- Demonstrated success in opening new accounts and developing business in new territories.
- Exceptional consultative sales, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Monitor the market and competition, track opportunities in Salesforce, and analyse results to drive business growth
