The Opportunity
Reporting directly to senior leadership, you will be responsible for driving sales performance across South East Queensland while leading, coaching and developing a high-performing sales team.
You will work closely with key contractors, developers, project managers and infrastructure clients to identify opportunities, secure new business and maximise existing relationships.
This role combines hands-on leadership, business development, account management and strategic planning, and is ideal for an experienced leader who thrives in both driving performance and developing others.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach and develop a high-performing sales team, ensuring strong performance, accountability and engagement
- Drive revenue growth across plant hire, transport and workforce solutions
- Identify and secure new business opportunities across the civil construction and infrastructure sectors
- Build and strengthen relationships with key contractors, developers and project stakeholders
- Manage strategic client accounts and maximise long-term growth opportunities
- Monitor project pipelines, market trends and emerging opportunities
- Develop and maintain strong subcontractor and supplier networks
- Collaborate with operational teams to ensure exceptional service delivery and customer satisfaction
- Contribute to budgeting, forecasting and broader business planning initiatives
You are an experienced sales leader with a proven ability to build relationships, develop people and deliver strong commercial outcomes.
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- Industry experience within civil construction, infrastructure services, plant hire, workforce solutions, transport or related sectors is highly desirable
- Proven experience leading, coaching and developing sales or commercial teams
- Strong business development and account management capability
- A track record of achieving and exceeding revenue targets
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills
