Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach and mentor a team of Sales Representatives to achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets.
- Conduct regular one-on-one coaching sessions, call observations and performance reviews.
- Monitor team performance and identify opportunities for improvement and development.
- Analyse sales results and implement strategies to drive conversion and revenue growth.
- Act as the escalation point for complex customer enquiries and disputes.
- Support workforce planning, rostering and workload management.
- Assist with recruitment, onboarding and training of new team members.
- Ensure all customer interactions meet compliance, quality and regulatory requirements.
- Review reporting and performance data to identify trends and actionable insights.
- Support the sales team on inbound calls during peak periods when required.
- Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to enhance customer and business outcomes.
- Previous Team Leader, Assistant Team Leader or people leadership experience within a contact centre sales environment.
- Experience within insurance, financial services or travel industries highly regarded.
- Proven track record of leading teams to achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
- Strong coaching, mentoring and performance management skills.
- Passion for sales, customer service and team development.
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building capabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional organisational and time management abilities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Resilient, adaptable and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working with CRM and contact centre management systems.
- Understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements within financial services is highly regarded.
