MAYDAY Recruitment is seeking an experienced Senior Claims Adjuster – Financial Lines to join a highly respected global insurer within their APAC claims team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a technically strong Financial Lines claims professional to manage a complex portfolio of Professional Indemnity claims, while also gaining exposure across D&O, Financial Institutions and Transaction Liability matters within a collaborative and market-leading environment.

You’ll play a key role in driving claims strategy, managing complex and litigated matters, and partnering closely with underwriting, brokers and regional stakeholders to deliver high-quality commercial outcomes across the APAC region.

• Manage a portfolio of Financial Lines claims end-to-end, with a primary focus on Professional Indemnity claims
• Handle complex, litigated and high-value matters across PI, D&O, Financial Institutions and Transaction Liability
• Develop and execute claims strategies, including liability assessment, reserving and resolution pathways
• Ensure accurate and timely reserving aligned with internal governance and reporting requirements
• Provide technical guidance and support on complex claims matters across the APAC region
• Act as a referral point for technically complex claims and coverage matters
• Manage Delegated Claims Authorities (DCAs), TPAs and external legal/service providers
• Conduct claims reviews and audits to ensure compliance, governance and service excellence
• Partner closely with underwriting teams to provide insights on claims trends, policy wording and emerging risks
• Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers, insureds and legal representatives
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across claims operations and governance

• Significant experience managing Financial Lines claims, with strong expertise in Professional Indemnity
• Exposure across D&O, Financial Institutions and/or Transaction Liability claims highly regarded
• Strong technical claims capability across complex and litigated matters
• Experience managing or overseeing DCAs, TPAs and external service providers
• Strong understanding of Financial Lines policy wordings and coverage interpretation
• Knowledge of the Australian regulatory and claims environment
• Ability to operate as a senior technical specialist and trusted stakeholder advisor
• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship management skills
• Commercially minded with the ability to balance customer outcomes and financial discipline
• Experience within a Lloyd’s or delegated authority environment highly regarded
