What You’ll Be Doing:
- Manage and assess strata insurance claims end-to-end, ensuring legitimate claims are paid in line with policy conditions.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to colleagues, reviewing claims referred by less experienced team members.
- Liaise with builders, engineers, assessors, brokers, and strata managers to ensure timely and accurate claim resolutions.
- Review and approve claim declinatures according to the claims authority framework.
- Maintain strong relationships with brokers and strata managers to support service excellence.
- Identify opportunities to improve claims processes, contributing to projects and business initiatives.
- ​​​​​​​Collaborate with internal teams (underwriting, accounts) on risk recommendations, recoveries, and payments.
About You:
- Experienced in insurance claims management, ideally within property, commercial property, or strata insurance.
- Strong technical knowledge of policy interpretation and claims handling.
- Skilled at managing complex claims while delivering exceptional client service.
- Confident communicator, able to liaise with brokers, strata managers, and service providers.
