Join a progressive and community-focused organisation as a Senior HR Business Partner. You’ll play a key role in delivering strategic and operational HR support across a diverse workforce. This is a hands-on, impactful role suited to someone who thrives in complex environments and enjoys partnering closely with senior leaders.
This role is to start ASAP and is initially a 9-month fixed term contract.
The organisation offers hybrid work arrangements, 3 days in the office and 2 days from home. The company are based on the cusp of Melbourne’s CBD.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide expert HR advice across the full employee lifecycle, with a strong focus on employee and industrial relations
- Manage complex ER casework including performance management, investigations, and disciplinary matters
- Partner with senior stakeholders to deliver practical, commercially sound people solutions
- Lead and contribute to HR projects, policies, and organisational initiatives
- Coach and support leaders to build capability and confidence in managing people matters
- Analyse workforce data and provide insights to support strategic decision-making
- Extensive experience in a senior HR Business Partner role within a complex or unionised environment
- Strong ER/IR expertise, with proven experience managing complex casework and investigations
- Confident stakeholder manager with the ability to influence at all levels
- Experience developing and implementing HR policies and initiatives
- Tertiary qualifications in HR or a related discipline
