Senior Property Claims Consultant – Brisbane


MAYDAY Recruitment is excited to be recruiting a Senior Property Claims Consultant to join a leading insurance provider based in Brisbane.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced property or strata claims professional who is confident managing complex claims, supporting stakeholders, and delivering high-quality outcomes in a customer-focused environment.

As a Senior Claims Consultant, you will play a key role in managing a portfolio of property claims end-to-end, providing technical guidance, and contributing to best-practice claims outcomes while building trust with customers and stakeholders.

This role will include, but is not limited to:

  • Managing a portfolio of Strata Property claims , including more complex and escalated matters

  • Conducting thorough claim investigations and assessments, determining coverage and liability

  • Providing technical claims expertise and guidance where required

  • Collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure a smooth end-to-end claims process

  • Leading claim negotiations to achieve fair, timely, and commercially sound settlements

  • Delivering a high standard of customer service and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships

  • Maintaining accurate and compliant claim documentation in line with company policies and guidelines

  • Staying up to date with relevant insurance legislation, policy wordings, and industry best practices


The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven experience in a Senior Property or Strata Claims role

  • Strong technical claims knowledge and decision-making capability

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills

  • High attention to detail with strong organisational skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and claims management systems
