Are you a skilled Loss Adjuster looking to specialise in Strata Claims? Join our clients dedicated Strata practice and manage a portfolio of Strata, commercial, and domestic claims from first notification to settlement. This role combines technical expertise with client engagement while contributing to a collaborative, hybrid work environment.
What You’ll Do
- Manage and settle Strata, commercial, and domestic claims from notification to final settlement.
- Conduct field and office-based assessments, investigations, and inspections.
- Review policies, endorsements, and client instructions to determine coverage.
- Interview claimants and witnesses, obtain reports, inspect damage, and reconcile evidence.
- Set loss reserves, control claim costs, and recommend settlements.
- Collaborate with service providers and pursue subrogation or recommend litigation when appropriate.
- Ensure compliance with SLAs, regulatory requirements, and company standards.
- Provide advice and support to clients, brokers, and internal teams.
- Contribute to business development initiatives and maintain strong client relationships.
- Mentor and support less-experienced adjusters.
- Assist broader operations during catastrophes or high-volume periods.
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified Loss Adjuster (preferred) or equivalent professional accreditation.
- Substantial experience handling Strata claims; commercial or domestic claims a plus.
- Chartered Institute of Loss Adjusters membership (desirable).
- Strong knowledge of insurance terminology, policy interpretation, and claims practices.
- Excellent report writing, communication, and client service skills.
- Highly organised, self-motivated, and capable of managing workloads independently.
- Proficient with electronic claims systems and standard office software.
- Valid driver’s license.
