We’re looking for a commercially minded Strata Team Leader to drive the day-to-day performance of our Victorian External Strata Claims Adjusting team, while growing the business, strengthening client relationships, and lifting team culture.
This role is not about carrying a heavy portfolio. Your focus will be on leadership, growth, marketing, technology adoption, and team performance, while managing only a small portfolio of complex senior-level claims.

What You’ll Do

Lead, coach and energise a team of External Strata Claims Adjusters

Lift team culture in a predominantly WFH environment (including launching team days & stronger engagement)

Drive business growth through client relationships, broker connections, and marketing initiatives

Oversee complex claims from first notification to final settlement

Act as a technical referral point on coverage, policy interpretation, and complex matters

Champion technology adoption and process improvements

Allocate claims using a “right person, right job” approach

Monitor service levels, compliance, workloads, and revenue targets

Partner with senior leaders to scale the Strata portfolio nationally
Who We’re Looking For

Loss Adjusting or senior Claims background (Strata ideal, but not essential)

Experience in commercial, major loss, or complex claims

Proven people leader (small-to-mid sized teams)

Strong policy interpretation, investigation, and technical claims capability

Commercially savvy — comfortable building relationships and growing revenue

Confident, proactive, and brave enough to walk into market and win business

Highly organised with strong report writing, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
