A unique opportunity not to be missed! We are currently seeking an experienced Talent professional to take complete ownership of Talent activities for a diverse, fast-expanding blue-collar business!

Whether you are an experienced Talent Partner looking to take the next step in your career, or an established Talent Manager ready for a change, this exciting opportunity will see you managing end-to-end recruitment across a broad range of roles. You will truly partner with candidates and the internal HR team to support onboarding, whilst delivering an exceptional candidate experience.

What's in it for you:
  • Temporary role for around 3 months, with a view to transitioning into a permanent role•    Hybrid work flexibility after training and integration

  • Up to $60 p/h + super, with an approximate salary of $125K p/a + super when transitioning to permanent
  • Monday - Friday, 38 hours per week, standard business hours
  • Based in the Norwest area - free parking available on site

  • ASAP start dates available, however notice periods can be considered for the right candidate

  • Truly partner with executive and operational leaders to develop and improve talent processes

Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with executive and operational leaders to support workforce planning and develop recruitment plans across a multi-entity business (national coverage and New Zealand)
  • Guide and advise stakeholders on recruitment best practice and processes, from initial hiring request through to job offer and candidate onboarding, ensuring alignment with company standards and values
  • Take complete ownership of advertising, sourcing, shortlisting, interviewing, pre-employment checks and onboarding activities - a true end-to-end Talent role!
  • Build accurate and compelling role descriptions and adverts based on Hiring Manager briefings and expectations
  • Genuinely partner with stakeholders to provide market intelligence and industry insights
  • Deliver a positive onboarding experience by liaising with Hiring Managers to ensure appropriate equipment, access and uniform (if applicable) is arranged for new starters
  • Prepare welcome packs and facilitate new starter meet and greets
  • Champion diversity, equity and inclusive hiring!

You will need:
  • Proven experience in a Talent Acquisition or Recruitment role at a senior level, ideally in construction, property, trades or a similar blue-collar environment
  • A proactive attitude with the ability to manage multiple competing deadlines, a portfolio of around 30 roles at one time and regular onboarding activities
  • A real passion for candidate experience, with a background in coordinating pre-employment checks and onboarding activities across volume hiring
  • High attention to detail, exceptional communication and business partnering skills, and the ability to self-manage whilst meeting tight deadlines
  • The ability to recruit outside of the norm - actively headhunting, building talent pipelines and using "out-of-the-box" thinking to attract talent across niche areas
  • As this role will convert to a permanent position for the right candidate, full working rights are required (e.g. permanent resident, Australian citizen, partner visa etc.)
  • Candidates with limitations to their working rights, such as Working Holiday Visa and Student Visa holders, are not able to be considered for this position
