Travel Claims Consultant

MAYDAY is recruiting multiple Travel Claims Consultants to join a leading global insurer based in Brisbane CBD. In this customer-focused role, you'll be the first point of contact for customers lodging travel insurance claims, providing support, guidance, and reassurance during what can often be stressful and unexpected circumstances.

Location: Modern Brisbane CBD offices, conveniently located near public transport
Hourly Rate:$37.91 per hour + Superannuation
Hours: Full-time | Monday to Friday | 9:00am – 5:00pm

Key Responsibilities

Manage incoming travel insurance claims and customer enquiries

Deliver professional, empathetic support throughout the claims process

Assess and process claims accurately and efficiently

Prepare claim outcomes and denial correspondence where required

Maintain accurate customer records and claim documentation

Resolve customer concerns and provide timely updates

Deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment
About You
-
Previous claims or insurance experience is highly regarded

Strong customer service skills with a genuine passion for helping others

Excellent communication skills and a professional phone manner
-
Ability to remain calm and solutions-focused in challenging situations

Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

Experience within a call centre, contact centre, or customer support environment will be highly advantageous
